Real-World Rules that the Movies never adhere to.

And these are the ones aside from the obvious (dont ever say you’ll be right back, always ration your food and give the workforce a little more of all resources, dont go anywhere alone and don’t go into the woods period. Oh, and pray. )

1. The over aggressive/drunk guy that’s always ready to kill someone… kill him before he turns on you. He will turn on you. End of story.

2.As soon as you hear a strange noise and someone begins: “Oh, it’s just… “ Get your stuff and leave.

3. One guy has a gun and there are more than three other people in the room… you better not let the asshole control y’all, think of a plan, get the weapon and tie him up.

4. Don’t harm or threaten the guy that has the passcode or password for whatever you need. That is stupid, you can’t win without him. Appease him.

5. In life or death situations, say a prayer for the wounded as you escape, do not sit with them until they die because then you will die with them.

6.If someone says run, run with them and ask questions later. If there was no reason to run, at least you’ll be safe and can take out your aggressions accordingly, but later. Seriously, drop everything that you have and run.

7. Trust only those that came with you and then at that, only half of them. The rest will turn you in quickly and take advantage of your resources and then maybe eat you, depending on the scenario.

8. This is how the conversation should go. Person one:  I’m going to stay. Person two: Okay, bye. Nothing more than that. They are capable of making their own decisions unless otherwise noted (eg. Children).

9. It’s the anniversary of an extraordinarily bad event… stay in. Don’t go to prom, don’t go to a party, don’t go anywhere. Invite your friends and your parents to stay in with you and make sure your alarm system works. Better yet, go out of town for the entire weekend.

10. Do not engage in relations with the opposite sex in an obscure location. You would only be fucking yourself. (haha, see what I did there?)

More to come.
